Summer Solstice Celebration June 21, 2008
9 AM – 6 PM
Every year we offer celebrations for Summer and Winter Solstice. This year we are offering an opportunity for you to co-create sacred space and do some serious exploration of your intention through HART DANCE.
HART DANCE is a unique combination of techniques for exploring your emotional spiritual physical aspects and to align yourself with your intention bringing meaning and purpose to your life. It is deep process work that involves breath, music, dance, art, and discussion. We are going to introduce ritual into the process in celebration of Solstice. There will be a piece that allows you to write down your intention and plant it in Mother Earth with all the ingredients for growth and fruition.
From your home you will need to bring a sleeping bag and sacred scarf to cover your eyes. Dress in loose comfortable clothing. Bring any sacred objects that you may want to have with you on your journey. You will begin lying down upon your sleeping bag and listening to very meditative music that will help you get focused and bring in Universal energy with love to all, harm to none, for the greatest benefit to All. It is during this phase of the experience that you will allow yourself to become familiar with the intention you have set for the solstice celebration. This is the time you will decide what seeds you want to plant in your life.
The music will move down the chakra system from the crown to the heart. When it reaches your heart charka you will be asked to rise to your feet. Your sleeping bag will be removed to the outside of the room so you will have space to move your body. It is at this point that you will be able to register your intention into your body through "dance." You will move the energy down through your body to your root chakra. This will help you concretize your process. When the music is finished you will go to the art bins and capture your experience with supplies that we provide.
We are asking that everyone bring a dish so we can break bread together to deepen the celebration. At some point we will begin a discussion of the art work and the HART DANCE experience itself. You will begin to tie your intention to your process so you can ritualize it in writing and plant it for growth. We are asking only for love offerings and a food dish from those of you who choose to participate in this community experience. We hope that you will join us to celebrate the longest day of the year in a sacred container that you have helped build.

Beginning the inner quest to discover the spiritual resources that will guide you to emotional and physical balance is the most important step you will ever take. Trust your process as you deepen the search to find that which you seek. There is so much for us all to gain as we observe the shift happen all around us and within us. Come be part of The HART Center experience as we explore new and wonderful opportunities that folks bring to the community to share. Kirantana, Keith and I are co-creating a wonderful technique called Spirit Dance that incorporates yoga, movement, music, breath, meditation and art to help folks tap into the unsuspected inner resource to assist in the co-creation of a personal journey toward emotional spiritual physical balance. There are several others who are approaching the portal to begin their teaching journey. We invite you to become part of the co-creative process as together we lift the next layer of the veil so we may peer through Maya to discover our personal realities. Remember that your reality may not be the same as mine nor mine yours but there is room for all things in this magnificent experience called manifestation. Realities won’t be the same and each one is just as important as the next. All roads end at the same destination as much as we try to keep them separate we are still part of The One. With Love to All Harm to None for the Greatest Benefit to All.
