The Grief Release Ritual is a 3 day event focused on the loss of something dear in your life. It is an African ritual we learned from Melidoma and Sobonfu Some when they we over here teaching this ritual in the United States. It is truly a profound experience that involves singing, drumming, building an altar and creating a grief bundle for the lost loves focused on releasing them to their path.
And the Beat Goes On…
We have finished the renovations of the front half of The HART Center Building. It is really pretty with plush carpet in the offices and new traffic carpet in the halls with wood baseboards and toe rails. That really makes it just right. We soundproofed a couple of offices. All in all it is really a gorgeous space. The altar room continues to grow. We are about to need to add another shelf to hold everything. Each time I walk in there is something new to behold or things are moved around with a new focus. I am so full of wonderment as I observe the changes on the altars.
Karen Consultation has moved into The HART Center. Karen Dennis, LPN, LADAC, NCAC II and Karen Morgan bring much expertise with their practice. Karen Dennis, like me, is a seasoned trainer. Together we will surely be able to cover all of your continuing education requirements. We both are nationally approved trainers with the National Association of Alcohol & Drug Counselors and The HART Center is approved by the American Society of Social Workers Board, too.
As The HART Center continues to provide our community with opportunities to experience healing on so many different levels we invite you to co-create your own pathway into conscious living. Join us for Some of the experiential processes we offer. The Grief Release Ritual is a 3 day event focused on the loss of something dear in your life.
